Dr. Jacquelyn Reavis

Dr. Reavis began her career in education as a paraprofession in the fall of 1983. It was in this position that she learned that she had a passion for working with students with disabilities. She continued her education and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education from East Texas Baptist University in Marhsall, TX in 1990. She later received her Master of Education and prinicipal certification from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX in 2009 and her Doctorate of Education from Lamar University in Baumount, TX in December of 2018. However, her most valuable learning experience came from from being a mother of four and understanding that every child is unique, including her own. Dr. Reavis is currently a special education coordinator for Region 7 Education Service Center and specializes in the areas of transition and inclusion supports.
